2021 MLS CUP FAQs

Updated December 9, 2021

Is there a Friday night event?

Yes! Join us at The North Warehouse (723 N Tillamook St) from 8PM-close. There will be a lot of space and excellent ventilation, as well as a heated outdoor area. We'll also have two food trucks (Mexican and bratwursts).

This is a 21+ event. Proof of vaccination is required. Parking is limited; TriMet or cab/lyft is recommended.

Will the Fanladen be open for membership pickup and ticket exchange?

Yes! We're excited to share that both sides of the fanladen will be open from 8:30-11:30 for the first time since the pandemic!

Get your member swag, take a picture with our first MLS Cup ring, take a tour and get some Riveters merch!

COVID protocols will be in place: sanitation station at the door, masks required, 15-minute time limit for visitors, physical distancing, and one-way traffic only. Eating and drinking inside the Fanladen is strongly discouraged.

Is the No Pity van open?

The NPO van will be open at the Warehouse (17th Ave, just off Alder) from 8:30 to 11:00. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged to protect our volunteers. You can also shop online at nopityoriginals.com.

Something came up. How can I safely rehome my tickets?

If you want to avoid money-grubbing scalpers, you have a few options:

  • A fellow member is compiling a list of folks who are looking.
  • You can also donate Timbers tickets to ticketdonation@107ist.org. Tickets will be sold at the Fanladen on a first-come, first-served basis, and all proceeds go to Operation Pitch Invasion.

I can't make it. Where can I watch?

We are compiling a list of watch parties from all over the world. Please add any you know of here

What time are wristbands?

Wristbands are being distributed on Friday, 12/10 and wristband entry is at 9:30 on matchday. You can read the wristband policy from the Front Office here.

Where’s my capo?

Right where you expect them: in the capo nests! Please note that in the interests of the safety of our volunteers, some seats directly next to capo nests are taped off. Please respect the tape.

Is there tifo?

First rule of tifo is you do not talk about tifo.

What's with the red and black smoke in the 24th minute?

Smoke in the 24th minute is a visible show of support for the Rose City Riveters and the NWSL Players Association, driven by the revelations of Meg Linehan's article in The Athletic detailing the alleged systemic abuses of former Thorns coach Paul Riley. 24 was Sinead Farrelly’s original number with the Thorns and 6 (2+4=6) was Mana Shim's number. Read more here.

Where are the post-match festivities?

Information coming soon!

I have a question that isn't answered here.

We'll update this FAQ as circumstances change. Reach out to us if you still have questions.
