We are always interested in working with people who want to contribute to spreading the love of the Portland Timbers in non-Portland locations. If you are interested in forming your own regional supporter group, here are the guidelines.
- Nobody is in this to make a personal profit. If that is your intent, please don’t bother.
- Find a local viewing place to watch matches in your area.
- Create a Facebook page to organize. This is the simplest way to organize. We suggest creating a "community organization" page as it has all of the essential functions for local organization. Please do not make your local group a closed organization on Facebook, open it up to everyone.
- Get in contact with the 107IST travel team so that we can help you organize away travel or so you will purchase tickets with our group at various stadia in your area.
- Want a scarf or a t-shirt? Contact our merch team to go over guidelines. We work with vendors to get special pricing and are happy to work with regional groups to design something unique to your area.
Timbers Army East Coast Platoon
About:
Founded in 2011. We are the TIMBERS ARMY EAST COAST PLATOON. Representatives of THE EAST COAST PLATOON will be able to coordinate with each other for TIMBERS related events across the Eastern seaboard as a demonstration of our commitment to our boys in Green and White.
This group is intended to expand our support for the Timbers when they play East Coast and away games. We believe the Timbers have an East Coast following. However, all of us are split among the various cities and states. This group will allow us to know one another and enjoy Timbers games together. The Timbers Army does not need to only exist in Portland; we can represent a powerful East Coast support system if we come together.

Sunset Division
About:
Fans of the Timbers, Thorns and T2 who want the option to get together in the west side of the metro Portland area. Sunset Highway (Highway 26) was named that in honor of the 41st Infantry Division, the Sunsetters. They were a division based almost entirely within Oregon and were one of the very first to be deployed in WW2. Sunset Infantry Division would be a nod to the 41st and a tie to the highway that runs through SW Portland.

North Star Casuals
About:
The North Star Casuals are the supporters group representing the North Star State of Minnesota. We gather for Timbers and Thorns watch parties, help coordinate away days in the Twin Cities against the Loons, and sometimes live tweet games for fun, all while working with others to build a strong soccer community locally and back in the Rose City.
Founders of the inter-supporter pick-up soccer match between Minnesota United’s Wonderwall and our own Timbers Army, The Flannel Cup. Plan to come join in the fun at each Minnesota away day!
We also help our supporter friends for Kansas City away days, and facilitate connections for supporters in the larger Midwest (Heartland Regiment) region.
