Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. It is a day to mourn the lives lost to transphobia and anti-trans violence, a somber moment to pause and honor their memory. We acknowledge the grief and the ongoing struggle for safety, dignity, and recognition by our Trans siblings.
But remembrance is not just about looking back. It is a call to action, a commitment to the living, and a fierce promise for the future.

We do not confine our advocacy to this single day. The Rose City Riveters will continue to scream, from the North End and everywhere we go, that Trans people belong. They belong in our community, welcomed and valued as their full selves. They belong in the stands, cheering on their teams with joy. They belong on the pitch, competing with passion and skill.
Our community is stronger, richer, and more vibrant because of the Trans people who are a part of it. The fight for inclusion, acceptance, and the simple right to exist without fear is an every-day commitment.
We remember, and we resolve. Their memory fuels our fight for a world where every Trans person can live their life fully, freely, and safely. Today and always, we stand with you.
