How do I get match tickets with the Riveters?

~~Please buy tickets directly from us here: https://107ist.org/event-5016377. Tickets will be available through us until Thursday, 10/27 at 11am PT.~~ If you wish to still purchase tickets in section 137 (GA, Safe Standing) then you may purchase them here.

Note that the closest ADA section to where the Riveters will be is F26.

What time are gates for the Riveters?

We will be going into Audi Field as a group at 6:55pm at Gate C. Folks should plan to meet near the Northwest corner of the stadium at the corner of R Street and Second Street SW at 6:30pm. We will then move to Gate C around 6:45pm to enter the stadium.

What is the bag policy?

Audi Field does not require clear bags. They do not allow bags larger than 14” by 14” by 6”. More information about the specifications can be found on the Washington Spirit website. There are storage lockers outside the stadium where you may be able to store bags that do not comply with the guidelines.

Where should I stay?

Many Riveters are staying at Hampton Inn & Suites Washington DC - Navy Yard. The hotel is located at 1265 First Street SE, Washington, DC 20003, less than 1 mile from Audi Field. Please contact the hotel directly at 202.800.1000 to reserve your room. (There was a block of rooms reserved by the travel team, but those have all been taken.)

How do I get to the stadium? Should I get a rental car?

No, the DC supporter groups have let us know that parking is not easy, so they are recommending public transportation. More info about how to get to Audi Field can be found on this DC United website.

What are the activities around the NWSL Final?

Depends on what you’re looking for! Our friends within the Spirit Squadron and Rose Room Collective have a few social events for other traveling supporters, you can see the calendar of events (and locations) on their website.

I’m looking to book a flight! Which airport should I fly into?

DCA is the closest airport to Audi Field, but the area has several large international airports. Consider IAD and BWI but you can also look at airports in other major Northeast cities. Amtrak has high speed rail throughout the Northeast corridor so if you can find another flight that works better for you, there are going to be ways to get DC. Get creative! Will there be a tailgate?

No, the lots in the area do not allow tailgating. The Spirit Squadron and Rose Room Collective are hosting supporters at Solace Outpost Navy Yard starting at 3pm. If the Riveters set up a separate event, we will let everyone who purchased tickets with us know and will put word out on our social media accounts.

Can I bring in my own flag, 2 stick, or rail banner?

We need to coordinate on all of the flags-on-a-pole and rail banners we bring into the stadium. The Audi Field staff are requiring photographs of flags and rail banners to be pre-approved by staff prior. Please email pictures of what you want to bring in to awaytravel@107ist.org before 5pm PT Wednesday, 10/26. If you have not sent it in for pre-approval, then you will not be allowed to bring them in. The gameday team will be entering the stadium early to set up and your flag-on-a-pole or rail banner will need to go in with them, so additional coordination will be needed. We will follow-up with those who have items via email with more direction.

If you have a flag that is not on a pole, you should be able to take it in at regular gates without pre-approval.

Where will the after party be?

Yes! The after party will be at Walters Sports Bar! (Note: Kitchen closes around 11-11:30, but they said there's food in the area.)

Can I bring a drum?

Please contact us if you have a drum and are interested in drumming! We will need to coordinate with you to get the drum in during early set up.
