Over the past two weekends, our incredible community truly showed up! We are thrilled to share the fantastic results of our recent food drives, held during the prefunks for the home matches and the watch parties over the last two weekends.
The energy both inside and outside the stadium the last couple of weekends has been amazing, especially as we have rallied to support those facing food insecurity in our region. Thanks to your generosity, we successfully collected hundreds of pounds of food and at least $500 in monetary donations to local organizations focused on helping us and our neighbors!
Community Impact
The true victory lies in the reach of your donations. We are proud to announce that the collected items have been and will be distributed to seven different organizations working tirelessly on the front lines of hunger relief in our community. These organizations include (with links to donate directly in some cases):
- AWARE Food Bank (click here to donate directly)
- James John Elementary School
- Astor K–8 School
- Chief Joseph Elementary School
- APANO (click here to donate directly)
- William Temple House (click here to donate directly)
- Rose Haven (click here to donate directly)
Each of these groups plays a vital role in ensuring that families, seniors, and children have access to nutritious meals.
Thank You!
Whether you dropped off a can at the Axe & Rose, donated cash at the No Pity Van, made a donation directly online, or helped us spread the word, your participation made this effort a resounding success. Thank you for making match days about more than just the 90 minutes on the pitch—they were about making a tangible difference in our community.
