We Take Care of Us: Call to Action

10/31/2025 5:10 PM | Sam Prince (Administrator)

In these tumultuous times community can be the backbone that holds us together. As an org, the 107IST strives to help our neighbors when we can. This weekend we ask, if able, to help our community by bringing non-perishable items to be distributed to local food pantries.

This weekend our space, the Axe and Rose, will host food donations both days. Specifically, we are looking for:

  • Shelf-stable milk,

  • Canned soup,

  • Nut butters, Canned meats,

  • Whole grain Pasta

  • Gluten-free foods (i.e. pastas, soups, healthy snack items)

  • Breakfast foods (i.e. whole grain cereal, granola bars, oatmeal cups)

  • Dried beans

  • Tortillas

  • Rice

On Saturday from 3:30-5:45 we are collecting goods for AWARE Food Pantry. You can stop by the space and help us fill the No Pity Van with food. For the match on Saturday, the Timbers front office has donated 107 general admission tickets to the 107IST. If you donate goods mentioned above, and we have not yet distributed all 107 tickets, you will be given a general admission ticket at no cost.

On Sunday from 11-1:15 PM we are open, and will be continuing to collect goods to be distributed to local food pantries. These goods will be donated to the food drive already being conducted by the Portland Thorns front office, and you are welcome to contribute there instead of at the Axe and Rose if that better fits your game day schedule.

Click here for additional resources for those experiencing food insecurity at this time about where to find local pantries.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with our community, and will continue taking care of each other.

Thank you. #RCTID #BAONPDX
