If you're like most Timbers fans I know, you're also likely a Trail Blazers fan. As the debut MLS campaign approaches, the TA will be strategically grouped throughout the Rose Garden this Sunday night to cheer on the other pro sports team in town while making a good impression on the Blazers' faithful.

The game will be nationally televised on ESPN, tipping off at 7:30 pm. If you're going to the game, make sure to wear your TA gear (which goes great with Blazers gear) and represent the TA in a positive manner. For those who bought tickets through the TA special promotion, don't forget to meet up after the game to shoot free throws on the court. (Check your inboxes for a 2/23 email with those details.)

BONUS: if all goes according to plan, Sunday night's game will also be the debut of recently-acquired Gerald Wallace. Looks to be a barn burner. See ya' there!

    This will be my 6th Blazers game this year. I was at the game on Friday when they came back to beat the Nuggets in overtime, thanks in part to Brandon Roy’s heroics. It was easily the most exciting atmosphere I’ve seen this season, though I imagine the Garden was rocking last week for the Lakers game.

    To say that the atmosphere at the Rose Garden doesn’t match up to that at a Timbers game would be a massive understatement. It’s not even in the same (wait for it…) ball park. But I still love basketball, and even if the NBA is determined to squeeze every bit of honest energy out of its arenas, I still love the Blazers.

    Rip City Rhapsody, Baby!

    @Lucas Grzybowski

    It was weird sitting down the whole game, but until Blazers execs come to a Timbers match and see the potential that true supporters can provide, I have no problem in playing by their rules.

    That was an ugly game to watch to say the least. How was it from those that attended?

    It didn’t look much better from inside the RG, regardless of where you sat. Pretty abysmal game, but was nice to see Camby back and Wallace’s debut.

    The post-game free throws were pretty nice, except for mine when I realized it’d been close to 10 years since I shot one.
