Booked! — The Timbers Army Library and Literary Outreach Project — is excited to announce this wonderful opportunity to help get books into the homes of area children by assisting the Children’s Book Bank in cleaning and repairing books. This is our 4th book cleaning event and each session has been a great success! For this event we a delighted to have the Valeri family joining us to help refurbish these donated books and this event will be open to those 10 and older (rather than ages 15 and up for past events.)
This is another great “bad knees brigade” type of activity where the work is seated, relaxed, and a lot of fun! The space can accommodate up to 50 people, so let’s fill the place with some 107ist love!
As a thank you to all volunteers, you will receive the NEWLY DESIGNED, limited-run “Booked!” edition II patch, which will be unveiled at the volunteer event.
