Donation Drives:Match Day Drives are Back! Support Hygiene4All! Overflowing with excitement for the Timbers and Thorns season openers? Share some of those good vibes by contributing to our Season Opener Donation Drive! We'll be collecting items for Hygiene4All, a great local organization that runs a hygiene hub for unsheltered Portland residents. Their motto? Everyone deserves to feel clean! At Hygiene4All's hub, patrons can take a hot shower, swap out their dirty clothes and bedding for clean, and get basic first aid care. They need our help stocking their hub, where they work hard to provide what people need to feel safe and healthy. Pick up something from the list below and drop it off at the Axe & Rose / Legends on your way to the match! The drive starts with the Timbers season opener on February 23rd and will continue through the Thorns home opener on March 21st (and anytime we’re open in between, including Timbers matches or other events). Personal Hygiene Supplies:
First Aid Supplies
NEW Clothing and underwear
Outdoor gear (gently used is okay)
You can also donate directly to Hygiene4All on their website via PayPal or by credit card. Mention the 107IST in the notes: share our good vibes! Questions? Email community@107ist.org | Other opportunities:
Volunteer with Friends of the Children PDX Our community partner, Friends PDXf, is looking for volunteers to help out at an upcoming fundraising event on March 8th at SuperPlay in Beaverton. Volunteers will help with registration, sell raffle tickets, help program bowling lanes, etc. It should be a fun, lowkey event, and the money raised will help support their youth mentorship programs. Sign up here to get started! If that doesn’t work, keep an eye on their volunteer page and sign up to help with their main annual fundraiser on May 8th. Interested in joining the 107IST community outreach team? We can always use volunteers to help with logistics and support for community outreach. And we're also looking to grow the committee. Want to know more? Contact us about coming to a meeting to check things out or if you're interested in joining the team. Have a place you like to volunteer, and you'd like to do it with other 107IST members? We can help with the planning and logistics if you'd like to take the lead on setting up a volunteer opportunity with other 107IST members. Just reach out and let us know what you're thinking, and we'll go from there. |
We often invite local community organizations to games, and we love to provide our visitors with supporter scarves so they feel like part of the North End community. We depend on our community to help provide these scarves. Please visit the donation page and choose the "Scarf a new fan" option to help out!
